For more than a year now, our cat has been in and out of a cone because she keeps tearing up the flesh in front of her ear. We’ve taken her to the vet several times, they give us a different answer each time and whatever the solution the provide it ultimately does nothing. Ears are clean, no fleas, no obvious health issues. Anxiety meds just made her scratch lazily, antibiotics for cat scratch inflammation, did nothing. Topicals and antifungal, just make for slimey scabs. The best I’ve managed is using an anti itching cera-ve cream 4 times a day, but if I miss, there goes her face again.

For me, it’s small business retail. Point-of-Sale systems, physical inventory management, the existing options are not built for smaller operations or are not good.

I live in Canada but so much media I consume is from the United States that I tend to assume stories take place there by default until told otherwise. Once, I read a book set in England (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime) and I assumed it was set in the United States until the main character went to London. But the other day, I watched the new Frankenstein movie and it dawned on me that I didn’t know where Frankenstein takes place but, because it’s based on an older book, I assumed somewhere in Europe.

I’m autistic, I’ve had one haircut since covid because I hate the sensory aspect of haircuts. I’ve been searching online of how to cut hair and it doesn’t look that hard, but a lot of people seem to advise against it. I think that if I fuck it up it’s not the end of the world, I can just go to a professional. But I have very long hair so I have a lot of opportunity for trial and error. I think that if I get some practice, it’s something I can continue to do going forward. I also don’t particularly care how it looks, I just want it to be shorter.

I have a brass metal stamp for leaving an inked impression on a page. Think of used for the purposes of a rubber stamp. Currently I have pigment ink and it’s very patchy and leaves out fine details. Is there any other ink I should use?
