We just want healthcare
They gon’ have these drones drop silver parachutes like in The Hunger Games. There’s your healthcare 🤣
Gross. Why would anyone order Shitpotle?
And OF COURSE this means the delivery is cheaper since you’re not paying a driver, right? Right???
Lazy. Lazy fat american asses.
Fr. The only time I’ll ever get delivery is if I’m fucking wasted and can’t drive to get it. That or it’s so heavily discounted that it’s actually cheaper to get delivery than to go grab it myself, and even then, I’m hesitant because I don’t want cold food. Oftentimes they pack the cold drinks with hot food, have 3 stops along the way to your house, don’t get the sauces you want, etc. There’s just so many more negatives than positives. It’s fucking annoying that it’s become such a popular trend.
Bruh, I swear to god I am the key to bad things happening. I buy CBD online one time, farm bill legislation got reworded to make it illegal this November. I was gonna go to college for central processing and covid happened. I download Ubuntu and it’s now becoming more and more irrelevant as an OS.
I finally buy a fucking ebike and now drone delivery is going to take over one of the only ways to make money with an ebike and to potentially make the money back I spent on it.
I ammended my garden with fresh soil and manure after two years of gloshphating and making sure there’s minimal growth of knotweed and my dipshit neighbors stopped trying to remove their knotweed

Wait til the crows and seagulls learn they can follow the drones for free food.
They really thought that sounds like a plus
of course it’s a plus, imagine requiring humans with drone pilot licenses to fly them - shareholders would be so disappointed!
Why not just shit in my mouth directly?

I see that they’ve skipped the entire enshittification process and just jumped straight into delivering shit
What’s the advantage over traditional delivery?
The only benefit I could think of isn’t going to be in the areas that they want to deploy this service.
Like, I could see this being advantageous in lower populated areas that don’t really have DoorDash drivers.
But yeah, if you’re in a populated area, I don’t really get why I would want this over. Just having a traditional driver that arrives.
I guess if the system told me that it was going to be delivered by drone, so therefore I knew not to tip ahead of time? idk
Avoiding traffic and using an electric vehicle instead of a ICE one. In Bay Area traffic an electric drone can do a delivery in five minutes that would take a car thirty. And the Zipline style high hover + tethered descent drone is quieter than a car. I’m not sure if these are using that style or the low hover type like Amazon had been using, which are much louder.
Quieter than a car? I thought these make loud buzzing sounds
It heavily depends on how close you are and their hover system and how much work has been spent to make them quiet. You probably heard about the Amazon ones, which are loud and hover low to the ground. There are other ones, such as the ones Zipline makes, which are quieter to begin with and hover very high, using a powered descend module on a cable. Those are basically silent from ground level.
TIL
Avoid traffic until they become traffic, telefon lines and such included.
