NaichThank god they are finally taking action against the octogenarians holding placards who have been terrorising us for so long.
God damn UK, a country that cares more about Israel's right to do genocide in peace than its people well being.
What I don't understand is why people are choosing to die on this hill. Supporting Palestine Action isn't the only way to support Palestine, and if they've been essentially disbanded by the proscription (bank accounts frozen etc) then it isn't even an effective way to give support in any meaningful sense. The banner "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine." would be legal, and arguably more effective than the longer one because (in theory at least) it should be unopposed by law.

It highlights the hypocrisy at the centre of the UKs policy towards Israel. The hand wringing and pledges to make a hollow gesture if Israel don't stop murdering babies in 6 months time. All the while using British military equipment and personnel to observe the genocide for Israel and selling Israel the bombs and bullets to do it.

B-TR3ECertainly seems draconic, but consider her crimes: dissent, protest. These can't remain unpunished or others might be encouraged to follow her example. I do not support the death penalty but such infamous terrorist activities as elderly ladies openly protesting in public call for drastic measures.Think of the children!

That's a very good point actually, what we typically think of as terrorism is acts of violence against people, not property damage.
The next election in the UK will be fascinating to watch.
The only people terrorised by property damage are rich assholes... So makes sense that the definition widened.

It was painfully obvious some years ago when the Anti-Terrorist legislation was passed that it had been designed like that on purpose so that it could be used against mere dissent.
Of course, the really special bit here is that it's being used against those who dissent against the whole "let's help an ethno-Fascist white colonialist state mass murder children by starvation".
Keir Starmer and Yvette Cooper are going to go down in History looking far worse than Neville Chamberlain, who at least didn't do his thing mid-Holocaust and wasn't actually supporting the Nazis.
