What? How can ABBA not make the cut?
I was thinking that only the most miserable right-wing arse hole would exclude them, and there it is in the article - right wing arse holes deliberately defining criteria to exclude any foreigners, and ABBA are collateral damage. Who gives a fuck, though? This whole project seems stupid from beginning to end, and we can still sing ABBA hits in the shower.
Fascists are obsessed with defining what cultural heritage is and what isn't for a reason. They act all conservative until you hand them the steering wheel and they start culling your culture.
But Allan Petterssons 7th symphony did. Granted, it is a very important piece for Swedish classical music, but arguably a much smaller part of modern Swedish culture than ABBA.
